What kind of people have an IVA?

Just about anyone who can't pay their debts can apply for an IVA. You'll need to have debts totalling around £15,000+ (excluding your mortgage or other debts secured on your home) to qualify and you'll have to be able to meet the monthly payments set out in your IVA proposal to your creditors.
